If you have visited Bacchus Marsh Dental House recently, you may have noticed things are changing. The practice is in the middle of a significant expansion, knocking through into the space next door to create one of the most complete dental facilities in the region. More room, more equipment, and a lot more car parking space are all on the way.
What the New Space Will Include
More Surgeries Across the Building
The expansion adds a series of new treatment rooms across the building, with three surgeries along the back, two more further along, plus the existing spaces in the original building. For patients, this means shorter waits and more availability across the full range of services, from general dentistry through to crowns, Invisalign, and implants.
A Dedicated Studio Room
One of the most exciting additions is a purpose-built studio room where the team will be able to photograph and film patient cases. This kind of setup supports digital smile design consultations and gives patients a better visual understanding of their treatment options before they commit to anything.
A Bigger Lab and Sterilisation Area
Behind the scenes, the expansion includes a significantly larger lab and sterilisation area. The team is particularly pleased about this one. A well-equipped, well-organised lab supports faster turnaround on in-house work, including same-day CEREC crowns and other restorations.
An OPG Room for X-Rays and Orthodontics
The new OPG room brings dedicated space for digital X-rays and orthodontic imaging under the one roof. For patients undergoing treatment with braces or Invisalign, having imaging on site means fewer referrals elsewhere and a more streamlined experience from consultation through to treatment.
Treatment Coordinator Rooms and Consult Spaces
The expansion also includes a dedicated treatment coordinator room and additional consult rooms. These spaces are designed to give patients a quieter, more private setting for treatment planning conversations, particularly for larger cases where there is a lot to discuss and consider.
Coming Soon to Bacchus Marsh
The full expansion is expected to be open by the end of the year. In the meantime, the team continues to see patients as normal across the existing building.
